A Troubled Time
At the age of six, Robyn was horrably disfigured by a pot of boiling stew, which was knocled over by her father (Robyn will never speak his name) during a heated argument with Robyn’s mother Violet. Severe burns toher face and torso left Robyn bad scaring, it also burnt her voice box which left her with a raspy voice. After recovering Robyn was teased to the point of not associating with anyone else in the tiny village of Timberfell. Alone and angry at the way she was treated Robyn took to wandering in the forest near her home. During one such outing she stumbled upon a secret entrance built into a knarled oak, it took Robyn six long months to figure out how to open the door. Inside Robyn found a staircase leading down to a small room which was divided into two halves, one side a living area the other work area/alchemy lab. Who ever worked and lived here was a mystery and would remain so as the skeleton that was lying on the bed was unlikely to tell its tale. AS the years came and went Robyn spent all her spare time here reading and studying the books and tomes that were left behind, also performing small spells and alchemy experiments. Upon reaching adulthood at the age of sixteen Robyn packed up her belongings and set out into the world to learn more magic and alchemy, but Robyn soon found the world to be as cruel as the children of her village. Robyn was teased, had abuse yelled at her and even had people call her a demon and try and stone her to death. Robyn retreated to her hideaway and made a cloak to cover her from head to toe with a hood that covered her face, giving the illusion that her face was always in shadow. Robyn also made a mask of a thin gossamer material to cover her face if her hood was ever pulled back from her face. When Robyn was satisfied she headed once more intot he world and traveled thru the realm from island to island finding work were she could and learning more about magic and alchemy. Robyn is now in Flint working for the RHC, it looks like she has found a home……..
